6. Bookings, Payments and Cancellations (General)

We may require a non‑refundable deposit to secure your booking.

If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, fail to attend, or arrive more than 25 minutes late, you may be charged the full fee.
We may need to reschedule due to illness, emergency or circumstances beyond our control; where possible we will offer an alternative date/time.
6.5 If any payment is not received when due, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel your booking and to charge interest and reasonable recovery costs as permitted by law.
7. Consumer Right to Cancel (Distance Contracts)
7.1 If you are a consumer booking Services online, by phone or email, you may have a legal “cooling‑off” period (usually 14 days) for certain contracts under UK consumer law, except where an exemption applies (for example, where Services are fully performed during the cooling‑off period with your express consent).
7.2 By requesting that we start providing Services within the cooling‑off period, you acknowledge that you may lose your right to cancel once the Services have been fully supplied.
8. Client Responsibilities
8.1 You are responsible for:
Providing accurate and complete information about yourself, your dog(s) and any relevant history, health or behaviour issues.
Following our instructions, safety guidance and any written or verbal advice during and after sessions.
Ensuring your dog is fit, healthy and veterinary checks required by your vet before attending sessions.
8.2 You must immediately inform us of any change in your dog’s health, medication or behaviour that could affect safety or suitability for participation.
9. Health, Safety and Welfare
9.1 Safety of people and dogs is our priority. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a session if, in our professional judgment, continuation would pose an unreasonable risk to you, your dog, other animals, third parties or us.
9.2 Any equipment you use (collars, harnesses, leads, muzzles etc.) must be in good condition and suitable for your dog. We may require that certain equipment is not used (such as aversive devices) and may recommend alternatives consistent with welfare‑focused training standards.
10. Intellectual Property

13. Additional Terms for Dog Training Services
This section applies in addition to the general terms above whenever you book or use any dog training or behaviour support Services.
13.1 Definitions
“Trainer” means Lead By Logic and any person engaged by us to provide dog training or behaviour services.
“Client” or “you” means the dog’s owner or authorised carer who books the training and is responsible for the dog.
13.2 Nature of Dog Training Services

13.2.2 Training may be delivered in‑person (at your home, in public spaces or other agreed locations) or online (via video call or similar), as specified in your booking.
13.3 Behaviour, Safety and Muzzles
13.3.1 You must disclose any history of aggression, reactivity, biting, lunging, guarding, or other behaviour that could affect safety.
13.3.2 The Trainer may require that your dog wears a suitable muzzle and/or remains on lead in certain situations for safety. If you refuse, we may cancel or stop the session and fees may still be payable.
13.3.3 Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times during sessions. The Trainer may stop the session if they consider that child safety or dog welfare is compromised.
13.4 Vaccination, Health and Veterinary Care
13.4.1 The Client is responsible for ensuring that their dog is appropriately vaccinated, wormed and treated for parasites as advised by their vet, unless an agreed veterinary exemption applies.
13.4.2 If your dog is unwell, injured, in pain or has a contagious condition, you must inform us as soon as possible. We may postpone or refuse training if attendance could risk your dog’s welfare or the safety of others.
13.4.3 Training is not a substitute for veterinary care. You must consult your vet for any health concerns or before implementing any significant changes that could affect your dog’s medical management.
13.5 Client Participation and Homework
13.5.1 Training success depends on consistent practice. You acknowledge that you are responsible for carrying out any agreed training exercises (“homework”) between sessions.
13.5.2 We cannot guarantee specific results; progress will vary between dogs and depends on your commitment, environment, and how consistently you apply the training plan.
13.6 Sessions, Packages and Cancellations (Dog Training)
13.6.1 Session length, number of sessions and package details will be set out on the Website or in your booking confirmation.[leadbylogic]
13.6.2 Unless otherwise stated:
Sessions and packages are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase and must be used within that period.
Unused sessions after that period may be forfeited with no refund.
13.6.3 Cancellation and rescheduling for dog training:
You must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a training session.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, non‑attendance or significant lateness may be charged in full.
For outdoor sessions, we may reschedule if conditions are unsafe (e.g. extreme weather) and will offer an alternative slot.
13.6.4 Group classes (if offered):
Dogs must be kept on lead unless instructed otherwise by the Trainer.
The Trainer may remove a dog from a class if its behaviour is unsafe or significantly disrupts the session; you may be offered alternative support at our discretion.
13.7 Use of Training Materials
13.7.1 Any written plans, handouts, videos or other dog training materials we provide are for your personal use only in relation to your own dog(s).
13.7.2 You must not copy, share, publish or use these materials for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
13.8 Photography, Video and Case Studies
13.8.1 We may occasionally request permission to take photos or videos during sessions for training records, professional development or marketing. We will not use identifiable images of you or your dog for marketing without your explicit consent.
13.8.2 You may record parts of a session for your personal training reference only, provided this does not interfere with the session and is agreed with the Trainer in advance. Such recordings must not be shared publicly or used commercially without our written consent.
13.9 Holistic and Complementary Approaches (If Offered Alongside Training)
13.9.1 Where training is combined with holistic or applied zoopharmacognosy approaches, any suggestions regarding natural products, essential oils or botanicals are offered as supportive options and are not veterinary prescriptions.[leadbylogic]

Limitation of Liability
Services are provided "as is" without warranties. We disclaim liability for pet health outcomes from applied advice. Maximum liability is limited to fees paid. Not liable for indirect damages.
Termination
